| SC-32 International Mercantile Marine. 1917-1919. Read the history on this one! Very interesting. Shows impressive harbor scene including a representative of the Titanic-type vessel, barges, tugs, and loading docks. First organized in 1902 by J.P. Morgan to take over the Trans-Atlantic Market. It wholly owned the entire capital stock of "The White Star Line" and financed construction of the R.M.S. Titanic. A luxurious suite was built for Mr. Morgan on the ill-fated liner. But a bad case of the flu kept him from boarding on the maiden voyage. Good for Mr. Morgan because, as we know, the luxury liner Titanic hit an iceberg and sank on its maiden voyage.
