The extensive holdings of this company were based in the Dominican Republic and the island of Cuba. Fidel Castro seized the company in 1960. Castro's actions led to the embargo of Cuba by the United States and the subsequent Cuban Missile Crisis. Lots of history with this one. Don't miss it.
